What is the leader of the True Church trying to tell us?

I ended my last blog asking this question: What is the leader of the true church, Jesus Christ, trying to tell us?

leader of the true church public domain

I think it is this. There is no religion, there’s only family. First let me address the first part of that sentence. I’m going to go to Wikipedia to show you what people other than myself have to say about this subject of religion.

The definition of religion is a controversial subject in religious studies with scholars failing to agree on any one definition. Oxford Dictionary defines religion as the belief in and worship of a superhuman controlling power, especially a personal God or gods. Others such as Wilfred Cantwell Smith, have tried to correct a perceived Judeo-Christian and Western bias in the definition and study of religion. Thinkers such as Daniel Dubuisson have doubted that the term religion has any meaning outside of western cultures, while others, such as Ernst Feil even doubt that it has any specific, universal meaning even there.

Wow, no religion! What’s your reaction to that statement? Does it offend you or do you agree? I ask that you not have a reaction at all. But instead let’s see if we can understand this subject from God’s prospective. You see, there is a superhuman controlling power and Jesus tells us this about Him at Matthew 23:9:

Is Christianity the True Religion?

Is Christianity the true religion? I’ll start this one off by being blunt.

No!

Welcome back and let’s get started. As I explain this from the bible you may not agree with me and that’s fine and it is your right. But it is also my right to believe this to be true and to explain it as I see it according to what I read in the bible.

Let’s start with something Jesus said at Matthew 7:21 through 23: “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ 23 Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Matthew+7%3A21-23&version=NIV.

Now I have to ask you, what religions come to us in the name of Jesus?

Christianity!

Christianity

Christianity, in all of its myriad sects and forms, are the only ones, and yet Jesus says he will tell them in the last days, “Away from me, you evildoers!”

Why would Jesus call them evildoers? I think we need to start at the beginning of Christianity—which would be shortly after the death of Jesus. We read this in 1st John 2:18, “Dear children, this is the last hour; and as you have heard that the antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come. This is how we know it is the last hour.

Where is the True Religion

Where is the True Religion? This is the subject I want to explore today.

I often get asked, “What about all the different religions on earth, are they from the true God? Surely they can give us a way to help each other. And if there is one that is really the true one, where is the true religion?

I’ll tell you this, as I sit here thinking about how I’m going to talk about one of the most explosive subjects on earth, I know that God’s point of view is unlike anything we have been taught. But, as Jesus once put it, ‘It must to be this way.’ Mathew 26:54.

(Image Attributed to Author- World religions map ru.svg: Tetromino et al.)

4,300 different religions on earth. No wonder we’re so screwed up. Can you imagine if the NFL had 4,300 teams – or any other sport you chose? The rivalry that takes place with just the 32 they have is enough to get some fans in heated arguments that too often ends in violence. Not to mention how some of the players act. I’m not picking on football, I’m just trying to show how rivalry puts people against people.

But football rivalry cannot even begin to compare to religious rivalry.

Which Governments Represent the True God?

I ended my last discussion with these questions. Is there any governments on earth that represent the true God? Even one? What about all the different religions on earth, are they from the true God? Is there a true religion on earth backed by God?

We will begin with governments. Which governments on earth represent the true God? As far as I know every nation on earth claims devotion to a god of some kind. As we continue to peer into earth’s affairs from God’s perspective, it should be easy to locate the ones that follow the two laws stated by Jesus when being tested by the Pharisees at Matthew 22: 35 through 40.

“One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question: “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

Now you may ask, how is what Jesus said to the Pharisees connected to governments of the world? In his day, the nation of Israel was under the rule of the Roman Empire, but it claimed to maintain that it was God’s chosen nation, thereby making it also the kingdom or government of God.

What Has God Done For You

Nowadays when you tune on the news channels they seem saturated with news about wars, the endless list of wars to come, senseless mass killings, and the weather. This in turn has caused an increase in the conversations I have with my fellow humans about God and often I hear the question, “If there is a God why doesn’t He do something about the conditions here on earth?” I have even heard many say after hearing about a car or truck mowing people down, and mass killings in churches that, “If there is a God, He doesn’t care about what happens to us.” First let’s go to the bible for its answer. James 1:13-15,

“Let no one being tempted be saying that ‘I am being tempted by God’. For God is not-tempted by evils. And He Himself tempts no one, but each one is tempted by his own desire while being drawn-away and enticed. Then the desire, having conceived, gives-birth to sin. And the sin, having been fully-formed, brings-forth death.”

God and NatureThis cancer that is consuming mankind is not from God. This world as we see it is not natural, but it is all we know. When one takes the time to look around in nature, to observe the natural order of all things from our earth to the most distant galaxies of our universe, you must admit everything is in harmony or happens for a reason. But the harmony stops when it gets to man. That’s because man has chosen a way of self, instead of natural order. We don’t go with the flow, we fight the flow. This is what cancer does, it distorts the natural order of the body. God is not the cancer, but He is the cure. It’s not that God doesn’t care about people. It’s people that don’t care about people.

The Alien Distraction

This post is about explaining what I call The Alien Distraction. Hi, Billy here again, and I’m glad you returned to K.I.S.S.I.T. and thank you for your interest. Today I’ll be discussing more on the subject of how extraterrestrials have been used to misdirect humans away from God and the time limit that God has given Satan to prove self-rule is better.

But before I get into this week’s discussion on the alien distraction, I’m going to do something I haven’t done yet, say something about a current topic. All of these end of the world dates set by some of these idiots that claim to read the bible. I will make this quick and to the point. Jesus in Mark chapter 13 is telling his disciples about the signs to look for at the end of the world as we know it. This is what he said in verse 32: “Concerning that day or the hour nobody knows, neither the angels in heaven nor the son, but the father.” (NWT) Jesus is telling us that even he doesn’t know the exact day or hour, but only God knows when He will intervene. If Jesus doesn’t know and he being God’s only-begotten son, I’m sure no one on earth knows the exact day or hour.

When we use our spiritual eye, our eye of reason to see things from God’s perspective, then we can use that same eye of reason to see things from Satan’s perspective. God has allotted Satan a set amount of time to prove that taking for yourself is better than giving of yourself. Are you wondering how much time was given to the devil? I will try not to spend too much time on this because I want to stay on subject, but this may interest you and will allow us to see where we are within that time period.

Aliens, Alienation and Spiritual Warfare

Hello again. Thank you for returning to K.I.S.S.I.T. I often get asked if I believe aliens exist – are they real? In this post, I’ll be talking about that, and how it ties into the unseen war. Specifically, how the devil has tried to deceive mankind from even knowing that there is a war. Oh, and if you have dropped in for the first time to my blog, to get a better handle on this subject, and understand where we are picking up, read my last blog, okay?

First, let’s start in Genesis 3 in the latter part of 15: “I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring; he will bruise your head, and you will bruise his heel.”

Most Christian teachings declare that this woman mentioned is speaking of Eve. But that scripture says that God will put enmity between Satan’s offspring and between the woman’s offspring. The meaning of enmity according to dictionary.com is: a feeling or condition of hostility; hatred; ill will; animosity; antagonism.

There would be hatred between this woman and her seed and between Satan and his seed. This cannot be speaking of Eve in this scripture because it goes on to say that one of this woman’s children would deal Satan a death blow to the head. There is no human offspring that can kill a spirit being and the bible mentions this woman again long after the death of Eve. It must be speaking of a different woman. We will now try and find out who this woman is.

The Unseen War Finale

Hello again and thank you for returning to K.I.S.S.I.T. Last post, I left off hinting of an unseen war that is taking place right now. Before I get to that though, I must tell you how it began.

unseen war public domainI stated in my last post that Lucifer is the son that had a desire to be like God. By entertaining that desire it began to grow inside him until it couldn’t be contained any longer. Because he chose self over others, he was now calling Jehovah a liar. How? By saying that God did not have his best interest at heart. If God didn’t have his best interest at heart, then Satan would have never had the right to choose self, he would have been forced to choose God. We can read at John 8:44 what Jesus told the Pharisees when he was telling them who their father was,  44“For you are the children of your father the devil, and you love to do the evil things he does. He was a murderer from the beginning. He has always hated the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, it is consistent with his character; for he is a liar and the father of lies. https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=John+8%3A44&version=NLT

According to Jesus, the devil always hated the truth. What truth? The truth that it is better to rule through unselfish love rather than selfish love. Jesus also said that Satan was a murderer from the beginning. I was curious as to how the devil could be a murderer from the beginning when there were only spirit beings at the beginning. I know that God would not allow him to take the life of any spirit being.

Archangel Michael is Jesus Christ?

Hello again, and welcome. I hope you brought your waders this time, because we are about to get deep into another long-held teaching of Christianity. I must spend time clearing up, what was for me on my quest, one of my biggest questions. Were (and are) Jesus Christ and the Archangel Michael the same being, or two different beings? Modern day, traditional Christianity says they are two different beings. This is all part of God’s side of the story, so I want to be as clear as I can be.

In my last post I communicated to you my belief that they are one and the same being. Now I will get into the details of why I believe that. Time for some research on Archangel Michael. We found the Hebrew meaning for the name Michael to be ‘who is like God?’ Now let us find the meaning for archangel. First let us check Wikipedia. Archangel most be two words, let’s begin with the word arch.

Arche (/ˈɑːrki/; Ancient Greek: ἀρχή) is a Greek word with primary senses “beginning”, “origin” or “source of action”.

Now we put the two words together.

An archangel /ˌɑːrkˈeɪndʒəl/ is an angel of high rank. The word “archangel” itself is usually associated with the Abrahamic religions, but beings that are very similar to archangels are found in a number of religious traditions.

The word archangel is derived from the Greek ἀρχάγγελος (arch- + angel, literally chief angel). A powerful angel that leads many other angels, but is still loyal to a deity.

An angel of high rank or, literally, the chief angel. Let us see what gotquestions.org under the question, ‘What are archangels,’ says?

Gods Only Begotten Son

Gods only Begotten Son is our topic today. To those of you that are returning, thank you and welcome back. I would like to thank you for sharing this site with people you know. We have been on a steady increase of visitors. Again, thank you so much.

To those of you here for the first time, welcome! I hope you find this blog interesting as well and, if you do, please tell others about it. However, if you have trouble understanding what is being discussed this week, you may want to begin with reading my first blog.

On my quest to find the truth about God, I chose to use the bible to find the answers to my questions. The more I read it, the more a picture began to emerge. It was like putting a puzzle together, I remember putting puzzles together with my mom as a child. The secret for me was the details that shaped the individual piece I was searching for and how it connected to the next piece. Slowly, piece by piece, a picture began to appear. In reading the bible for decades, the same thing happened. Now that I am adding the remnant pieces to the picture that I see from the scriptures, I want share it with you. I am not asking you to believe it, just look at it from a different perspective. It may not make sense at first, because I have to start at the end of my quest and work back to where we are today in time.

Enjoy, as we explore deeply into exactly what or who is …
